Rosie is 2 months!

 Little Miss Rosie is 2 months now. She is really sweet. Happiest in the morning and crankiest in the evening. She loves listening to music, the vacuum, running water, and any strange noise I can come up with to distract her from crying. She's 12 pounds. She is starting to enjoy tummy time a little more. She gets the hiccups and sneezes a ton. She loves staring at Zaidee, and Zaidee loves getting really close to her. She also loves to put Rosie's hands together for patty cake or raise her arms up in the air for the itsy bitsy spider.
She just had her 2 month Dr. visit. She had to get three shots. After the first one she started bleeding like crazy, it was just rolling down her leg :( the medical assistant said she'd never had that happen before. Poor thing. She was so sad that night and you could tell her legs were killing her. Some Tylenol, a hot bath, and a prayer later and she was feeling better and she slept through the night and most of the next day.

Happy St. Paddy's Day! We love holidays around here (why miss an excuse to party?) Here is how we spent our day.

A pot of gold to start our day off right. And to get us through our church sugar cravings ;)

 It was Zaidees first day in nursery at our church. I thought she was going to do great, but she only lasted 15 minutes. I guess I'll have to stay with her for awhile and help her slowly adjust. I know she is going to love it. She loves other kids soooo much.

Day to day life

Well my days are a little crazy taking care of these two cuties. I feel like I'm constantly changing or feeding one of them. Rosie does not like to be put down and so whenever she is napping or calm enough to set down I am holding Zaidee and kissing on her. When Adam gets home I am happy to turn the girls over to him and rest my arms :) Zaidee is really a sweetie to Rosie. When we put her to bed at night she gives Rosie several kisses. She makes me laugh because during the day when I talk to her she answers my questions with proper responses and she does it so causally.
Me:"Zaidee you doing ok?" Zaidee "Good."
Me: "Zaidee does this look ok?" Zaidee: "Cute."
Me: "Should we comb your hair?" Zaidee: "No."
Me: "Pretty cool, huh?" Zaidee: "WOW!"
Rosie has been smiling and responding to us. When we start smiling and talking to her Zaidee will run up and get really close to her and yell "Hi!"
